On this site you can see an impression of my work, as it developed recently. The development of the creating process doesn’t stop: every finished painting is followed by the challenge of improving the work.

The work shows existing elements, taken from its environment and make them more abstract. The colour and structure of the material strengthen each other, from which the work gets its own character. The graphical elements give a tension with the subject.

A view in the gallery shows, by use of the directions of a compass, the love for travelling and other cultures. Subjects as shipping and religion are an unusual combination. Apart from the work shown at the site, my collection consists of monotypes, pastels and drawings.
